the national agency for cultural heritage preservation have asked to develop the architectural museum of mtskheta within one of the oldest cities in georgia.
located in the very heart of the city, remains of towns at the site have been dated to earlier than the year 1000 BC, giving the
location historical significance. numerous ancient monuments can be found at mtkvari and aragvi, where there are three major
‘points’ in the city, connecting a series of cathedrals, monasteries and churches together.
in response to this, volume was pushed to the ground to have view on the churches and also to avoid the view on the parking
lot close to the svetitskhoveli cathedral.
