Concept:
Project is located in Gelati Monastery(Kutaisi,Georgia) 234km from Tbilisi. Site is protected by National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia. The Gelati Monastery for a long time was one of the main cultural and intellectual centers in Georgia. It had an Academy which employed some of the most celebrated Georgian scientists, theologians and philosophers.Building is one stories high and built with natural stones with local places. Green roof absorbs heat and acts as insulator also reduces energy need to provide cooling and heating.
